Happy February, everyone!
Since February 1st marks the start of the month of love, I figured it was only appropriate to do a post about my favorite pink lipsticks! For this post I'll be sticking to liquid lipsticks as those are what I've been wearing most lately. I tried to pick shades that look totally unique from one another, so there should be something for everyone in this post. Without further ado, lets dive in!
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Fuchsia: Super bright, cool-toned, Barbie pink that's intensely pigmented and long-wearing. This lipstick does not dry down matte; in fact, it leaves a bit of a glossy stain that feels comfortable on the lips. Melted Fuchsia is an awesome shade to wear when you want to bring some party to your lips.
Colourpop x Hello Kitty Ultra Satin Lip in Lock Diary: Medium berry shade that is the precise color of Hello Kitty's bow. The ultra satin formula dries down to a satin finish, is not drying, and does transfer a tiny bit.
Nyx Liquid Suede in Tea & Cookies: Neutral pale rose shade. The formula of this is creamy and does not quite dry down fully which prevents your lips from shriveling up like prunes. This is the most natural pink shade I own and I often reach for it on no-makeup makeup days.
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Mother: Mauve shade that leans quite pink. The formula of this line of lipsticks is somewhat drying but lasts on the lips all day. This is another pink shade I find myself reaching for on more natural makeup days.
Dose of Colors Liquid-Matte Lipstick in Berry Me: Vampy, cool-toned raspberry shade. Berry shades are the staples of my pink lipstick collection. I have a few that I absolutely love, but there's just something special about this shade in particular. The only drawback is I find the formula to be a bit drying but has great lasting power like Mother.
As you can see, each of the shades are totally different and gorgeous in their own ways. You may just see me rocking one of these lipsticks on Valentine's Day! What are your go-to pinks? Leave a comment below!
