Spring Makeup Wishlist

Happy Friday, everyone!

We've finally made it to the weekend! Tonight I'll be taking part in Relay for Life at my university, then I have plans to catch up on sleep and study.

Today's post will be about some of the makeup products I'm lusting over for the spring 2017 season. Some of these are new/recent releases while others are just products I haven't had the opportunity to try yet.

Colourpop Sand Collection: If you haven't heard, this spring Colourpop is releasing monochromatic collections consisting of pressed shadows, super shock shadows, pressed blush/highlighter duos, and lipsticks/lipliners. So far I've been intrigued by a couple of products in the Nectar collection, but not many products from the Pink collection caught my attention. But oh my god you guys, the sand collection. Every single shade of the pressed shadows appeals to me (conveniently, considering I've been wanting to test out Colourpop's pressed shadow formula). The Ultra Matte Lipstick in Embellish looks so unique and amazing, and the Ultra Satin Lipstick in Strut looks like it's my favorite type of taupy greige nude. The Double Play duo looks like a convenient bronzer/highlighter palette to bring on the go. I NEED IT ALL!!!

Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation: I'm starting to run low on the two foundations I currently have in-house so I've been on the hunt for a new foundation to try. While I adore the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Liquid Foundation and my holy grail Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation, they are pretty pricey to replace. I've heard rave reviews from so many bloggers and influences about this WNW foundation that I need to give it a go. At only $5.99 how can I resist?

Stila Magnificent Metals Liquid Eyeshadow: I'm a huge fan of eyeshadows that I can throw on by themselves that still give me an effortless eye look. This comes in handy when I'm mornings where I want to sleep in a bit or am simply running late for work. I've seen so many swatches and read/watched a multitude of reviews on Stila's Magnificent Metals and I'm completely sold. Glittery shadows that are easy to work with are rare, but these babies seem to make the cut. The shades Rose Gold Retro and Kitten Karma are calling my name!

Milani Make It Last Setting Spray: I'm running low on my beloved Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. I only ever buy the travel size because the full-sized version seems like such a steep cost to me, so I'm in the market for a more affordable setting spray. I've heard that Milani's new setting spray keeps your makeup in place with the same longevity that the All Nighter spray does. I can't wait to test out this claim!

Zoeva eyeshadow palettes: Okay, I know this is a broad statement since Zoeva has a million different palettes, but so many of them intrigue me that I can't choose just one right now! Zoeva isn't a brand that's super accessible in the US which is why I've taken so long to try them, but I think the time has finally come. A few notable palettes that catch my eye are the Matte Spectrum Palette, the Caramel Melange Palette, and the Cocoa Blend Palette

Looxi Beauty Highlighters: Some of the lovely ladies I follow on Instagram use indie brands in a lot of their looks. I recently learned about Looxi Beauty after admiring all of the stunning, blinding highlighters that they were using! I really want to try Mimosa, a peachy gold, and Stiletto, a white gold (fingers crossed they're back in stock soon!), but La Belle also looks phenomenal.

There are my top wants for the spring season! What products have you been lusting over recently? Leave a comment below, I'd love to hear all about them!
